R-Kids
Born from personal experience, R-Kids is a new charity. They are on a mission to reduce the isolation and loneliness felt by young people with brain tumours and their families in Greater Manchester.
Strategy & service development.
R-Kids was built on a personal story. We worked side-by-side with Clare, the founder of the charity, to understand that story and translate it into a strategic proposition.
Developing a vision, mission and set of values that closely reflected the services R-Kids planned to offer, means we set the charity up with a brand that aligned to their service delivery.
We developed a mentoring relationship with Clare, crafting the copy she needed to launch the charity and start running events for young people as soon as possible.
Brand and website development.
It was important we developed a brand that resonated with the charity’s target audience - young people. We tested everything from the name, through to the visual look and feel, building on the feedback of young people as we went.
As R-Kids were a new charity, it was important to develop a brand that could easily be maintained on a tight budget without relying on a designer.
We mentored Clare through the design and build of a SquareSpace website, ensuring she had everything she needed to update the site and promote the services of R-Kids.
“I cannot recommend Emma enough, she has a wonderful way of making you feel at ease and drawing out thoughts, ideas and concepts then channeling them into a workable idea.”
- Clare Finch, Founder R-Kids
